Ingredients

  • 1 package Puff Pastry
  • 4 Apples
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar plus 2 tablespoons set aside
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 Egg

Vanilla Glaze:

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2-3 tablespoons Milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Chop up apples into small 1/2 inch cubes, add to a large bowl.
    4 Apples
  • To the apples, add sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
1/3 cup Brown Sugar, 3 tablespoons Sugar, 1 teaspoon Vanilla, 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • Mix together, then add in the flour.
    1 tablespoon Flour
  • Cut the thawed puff pastry into 4 squares.
    1 package Puff Pastry
  • Take one square of puff pastry. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of apples onto the top triangle of the puff pastry.
  • Crack an egg with a splash of water and mix together.
    1 Egg
  • Gently brush the egg wash around the edges of the puff pastry square. Fold the puff pastry over the apple mixture so the corners meet, creating a triangle.
  • Use a fork to gently crimp the edges together.
  • Brush the egg wash over the top of the puff pastry and sprinkle with the extra sugar.
    3 tablespoons Sugar
  • Repeat with the rest of the puff pastry squares.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. The puff pastry should puff up and be golden brown.
  • While the puff pastry cools, make the glaze.
  • Combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.
1 cup Powdered Sugar, 1 teaspoon Vanilla, 2-3 tablespoons Milk
  • Drizzle the glaze over the puff pastry.
  • Enjoy!
