Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Start off by making the peanut butter cookie dough: add butter to a large bowl with peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Mix everything together until light and fluffy.
1 stick Butter room temperature, 1/2 cup Sugar, 1/2 cup Brown Sugar packed, 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
Add in egg and vanilla extract.
1 Egg, 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Once all the wet ingredients are mixed together, add in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
1 1/2 cups Flour, 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder, 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda, Pinch Salt
Stir everything together.
Add pretzels to a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into small pieces.
1/2 cup Chopped Pretzels
Add pretzels to the peanut butter cookie dough and set aside.
To start the chocolate cookie dough: add butter and brown sugar to a bowl and mix together.
2 tablespoons Butter room temperature, 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
Add in vanilla and egg yolk. Stir together.
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract, 1 Egg Yolk
Then add in flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Mix until a dough forms.
3 1/2 tablespoons Flour, 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder, 1/8 teaspoon Baking Soda
Drop dollops of the chocolate cookie dough into the peanut butter cookie dough.
Stir gently to get large swirls of the cookie dough.
Then use a cookie scoop to scoop out the dough and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for about 10-15 minutes until the edges are just set, but they're still a little soft in the middle.
Let cool slightly and enjoy!
