Birthday Cake Truffles

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Vanilla Cake Mix made to package instructions
  • 2 tablespoons Cream Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1/2 cup Sprinkles
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • To start, make the boxed vanilla cake according to package and let cool for an hour.
  • After cake cools, crumble cake into a large bowl.
  • In a measuring cup, pour in milk, then add in vanilla and almond extract.
  • To the crumbled cake, add in cream cheese, sprinkles, and milk/extract mixture
  • Use a hand mixer to mix everything together.
  • Once mixture resembles cookie dough, use a small cookie scoop to scoop out the dough. Roll the dough into small balls.
  • Place the truffles into the freezer to chill for 30 minutes.
  • Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until fully melted.
  • Gently coat the cake truffle in the white chocolate, using a fork to gently tap the excess off.
  • Set on a piece of parchment paper then add a few more sprinkles to the top.
  • Let chocolate firm up completely before serving!
