Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add milk to saucepan on the stovetop over medium-low heat, add in tea bags. Allow to steep for 10 minutes while you prepare the rest of the batter!
1/4 cup Milk, 2 Chai Tea Bags
Add oil, sugar, and brown sugar to a bowl. Mix together.
1/2 cup Oil, 1/2 cup Sugar, 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
Crack in two eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Whisk together.
2 Eggs, 1/2 cup Sour Cream, 1 teaspoon Vanilla
Remove tea bags from milk, squeezing gently to get excess milk and flavor out! Pour milk into wet ingredients. Stir together.
To the wet ingredients, add in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and chai spice. Stir together and set aside.
2 cups Flour, 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda, 1 teaspoon Baking Powder, 2 teaspoons Chai Spice
In a separate bowl, add flour, brown sugar, sugar, chai spice, and melted butter. Stir together.
1 1/2 cup Flour, 3/4 cup Brown Sugar, 1/2 cup Sugar, 1 teaspoon Chai Spice, 1 stick Butter
Pour in half the batter to a parchment lined baking dish. Sprinkle in half the crumble mixture. Then add the remaining batter to the top, followed with the rest of the crumble mixture.
Bake in a preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean!
While the cake cools, make the glaze by combining powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream.
1 cup Powdered Sugar, 1 teaspoon Vanilla, 2 tablespoons Heavy Cream
Drizzle glaze over cake and enjoy!
