Browned Butter Banana Bread

I can't think of anything more delicious than a warm slice of banana bread, unless it's Browned Butter Banana Bread!

Ingredients

  • 3 Bananas
  • 11 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 2/3 cups Brown Sugar packed
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Add butter to a saucepan over medium heat. Slowly stir every minute or so, until the butter begins to bubble. Then whisk constantly until the butter is a warm amber color.
  • Set butter aside to cool.
  • Add bananas to a bowl with cinnamon and mash until the bananas are mainly smooth with some chunks.
  • Add in browned butter, sugar, and vanilla. Stir everything together.
  • Add in one egg at a time, until they are fully incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gently, mix the dry ingredients into the banana mixture.
  • Pour into a parchment paper-lined loaf pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for about 45-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
