Smooth, creamy fudge is easier to make than you think! This Creamy Chocolate Fudge is made with 4 ingredients and is absolutely delicious! The hardest part is not eating it all the same night!

All about fudge

To me, fudge and Christmas time are one and the same!

I always have some form of fudge around the holidays. It really wouldn’t be the holidays without it!

I love this recipe of fudge because it comes together so quickly and only needs 4 ingredients!

To make this fudge, you need:

  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Chocolate
  • Vanilla extract
  • Butter

I like to use a mixture of two kinds of chocolate. My personal favorite combination is semisweet chocolate and milk chocolate. This is definitely a sweeter combination, but what can I say? I have 32 sweet teeth!

If you like your fudge to be a little less sweet, you could use all semisweet chocolate or a combination of semisweet and dark chocolate!

This is definitely up to you!

I use an 8×8 inch pan to pour my fudge in! This makes about 16 medium sized pieces, but that definitely can change depending on the size you cut the fudge.

If you would like to make thinner, smaller pieces of fudge, you could pour your fudge mixture into a 9×13 pan. This would make your fudge thinner, but you would be able to make more out of it! It would also set up faster!

I like a thick piece of fudge, which is why I used my 8×8 inch pan! I wouldn’t go any smaller than that though, so keep the loaf pans away for another dessert!

Mix-ins welcome!

I love a good mix-in! Adding things to cookies, brownies, fudge, I’m all for it!

Honestly, the options of things you can add to a chocolate fudge is literally infinite.

You can add more sweet things like toffee bits, caramel, chocolate-hazelnut spread, or marshmallow spread.

Or you can add salty things to help balance the sweetness, like pretzels, nuts, sea salt, peanut butter, or even crushed up chips on top! I know that sounds crazy, but adding potato chips to sweet desserts is my newest obsession, check out this recipe of Kitchen Sink Cookies for proof!

Or you could do a combination of both sweet and salty things, like adding caramel and chopped peanuts to make a sweet and salty caramel fudge! Or you could add pretzels and chocolate-hazelnut spread to make a wonderful sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy fudge that hits all the bases!

I could go on and on and on…

But I think you get the picture!

Easy Chocolate Fudge Tips and Tricks

My first tip for this Creamy Chocolate Fudge is to experiment with the different types of chocolate! Different combinations of chocolate can end up creating different levels of sweetness in your fudge! I think it’s fun to have a few different types that way everyone can find something they like!

Another tip is to have fun with mix-ins! There’s a ton of different options you can add in (see above!). I love to top this fudge with a sprinkle of flakey salt to help balance the sweetness, at the very least. But I would love to add a little crumble of crushed potato chips too! It sounds crazy, but wait until you try chips and chocolate together!

The title says it all for this Creamy Chocolate Fudge! It’s smooth, creamy, and full of chocolate flavor!

It’s almost impossible to have just one piece!

Cheers!
