You know, I don't think milkshakes get enough credit.
They're the best part of ice cream without the pressure of worrying about your ice cream melting all over the place.
That's a win for me.
Let me warn you now: this is not the milkshake of your childhood. This is the milkshake of your adulthood's wildest dreams. A delicious, creamy, smooth vanilla milkshake laced with the subtle spike of not just one liquor, but two!
If you have an unexpected dinner party, or just a few friends coming over, this is the perfect dessert to whip up! Who doesn't love a milkshake!?
Ingredients:
2 cups of vanilla ice cream
2 cups of ice
2 ounces of Irish Cream liquor
2 ounces of coffee liquor
¼-1/2 cup of milk
Chocolate Syrup, for garnish
Whipped cream, for garnish
Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
Add more milk if the milkshake is too thick.
Drizzle chocolate sauce on the inside of the glass before pouring the milkshake in. Or just drizzle chocolate on the outer edge.
This is such an easy drink recipe but don't let it fool you! This drink packs a punch! It goes down so easy you might just think you're drinking a plain ole' vanilla milkshake.
I highly encourage this drink shared around a table of friends, preferably with a card game on the table. At least that's what I did!
