I got the idea for this drink a local restaurant that actually had a flight of sorbet margaritas! They were sweet, refreshing and had the perfect slushie vibe!

If you’re looking for a good meal to pair with this, I recommend these Sweet Potato Tacos that are perfect with a little mango sidekick!

See recipe below for all the details!

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. Step 1: Combine lime zest and tajin before putting on the edge of the glass.
  1. Step 2: In a blender, add frozen mango, lime juice, agave, and coconut water.
  1. Step 3: After blending, add in ice.
  1. Step 4: Pour into glass and enjoy!

Hint: I like to blend up my frozen mango with the coconut water before adding in the ice to help the blender get things really smooth! If you notice that it’s not blending as well, you can add more water to thin it out!

Variations

Can’t find frozen mango at your grocery store? Not a big fan of mango? No worries! I have some other options for you!

  • Pineapple – swap out the frozen mango for frozen pineapple and you still get all that delicious tropical flavor in your drink!
  • Mixed Fruit – find a bag of mixed frozen fruit for a fruity, flavor blast in this mocktail! Can’t decide which fruit to pick? Who says you need to choose?
  • Peaches – use frozen peaches instead of mango and leave out the lime for a sweet peach treat!

Now that you have a drink in hand, try out these Sweet Potato Tacos that would pair perfectly with this fruity sorbet mocktail recipe!

Equipment

Because of the frozen nature of this drink, it does require a blender to get that perfect blended texture!

You can use a blender, food processor, mini blender, or whatever tool you have at home!

Storage

I don’t recommend making this drink too far ahead of time! Because you want this to have a nice frozen slushie vibe, I recommend making this drink right before you’re ready to serve it!

Top tip

If you want to add a garnish to the rim, make sure you add a little lime juice to the edges before you fill up the cup! I know it seems like an easy tip, but I can’t tell you how many times I forget this step!
