Snickers Cookies

The perfect combination of crunchy peanuts, melty chocolate, and gooey caramel all wrapped up into these delicious Snickers Cookies. If you're looking for a cookie with the perfect sweet and salty combo, you've found it!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 2/3 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 stick Butter room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Peanuts
  • 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips*
  • 12 Soft Caramel Candies
  • Flakey Salt for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cream together butter with brown sugar and sugar.
    1 stick Butter room temperature, 1/2 cup Sugar, 1/2 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • After the sugar has been fully incorporated, add in the egg, egg yolk and vanilla extract.
    1 Egg, 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Then add in flour, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt.
    1 2/3 cups Flour, 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder, Pinch Salt, 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • Once the mixture is almost mixed together, add in chocolate chips and chopped peanuts
    1/2 cup Chopped Peanuts, 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips*
  • Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop out the dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet.*
  • Gently press the cookie dough into a flat disc.
  • Unwrap the caramel candies and roll into a ball. Gently press the caramel ball into the middle of the cookie dough.
    12 Soft Caramel Candies
  • Bake for about 15 minutes when the edges are golden brown and the caramel is soft and melty,
  • Sprinkle with some flakey salt, and enjoy!

Notes

*These cookies do have a tendency to spread, so I like to place them a few inches apart! If you're worried about them spreading, you can always chill the dough for about 45 minutes! If they do spread too much while they're baking, you can use a round cookie cutter to swirl the cookies around as soon as they come out of the oven. This will help push the edges of the cookie back into itself creating a smaller, perfectly round cookie!
