Why You’ll Love…
You’ll love how easy these Monster Rice Krispie Treats are to assemble! Not only are they quick and easy, but they’re perfect for making ahead of time and packing up for any Halloween party destination!

Substitutions and Additions:
These Monster Rice Krispie treats are super easy to make, but I have a few ways to customize these treats!
Candy Melts – Instead of coloring the rice krispie mixture, you can use different colored candy melts to make these all kinds of colorful monsters!
Matcha Powder – For an all natural food coloring option, you can add in some matcha powder and then top these monsters with white chocolate and candy eyeballs to make these green gooey monsters!

Equipment Needed:
Parchment Paper – It’s no secret that these cereal treats get pretty sticky, so I like to use parchment paper to make it easier to work with!
Cookie Scoop – To turn these into cookie monsters, I like to use a large cookie scoop to get that dollop shape!
Large Saucepan – I like to use a large saucepan to melt down the butter and marshmallows! Bonus points if it’s a nonstick pan to help prevent the sticky marshmallow from getting out of control!
Cookie Sheet – I use a large cookie sheet to set the dollops of homemade rice krispies to help them set up! You can add a layer of parchment paper or a piece of wax paper!
