Why You’ll Love…
You’ll love how easy and quick these cranberry bites are! They are the perfect bite-size appetizers to pop in your mouth as your enjoying a holiday party! I love the combination of the tart cranberry sauce with the baked brie and crunchy pistachios! It’s one of my favorite holiday appetizers for a reason!

Substitutions and Additions:
These creamy brie and pistachio bites are the perfect easy appetizer for the holiday season! Here are few ways to spice up this recipe!
Types of Shells – I like the crunchy phyllo dough squares, but you can also use a roll of crescent dough! Just cut squares out of the crescent roll dough sheet and place in a mini muffin tin and then add the brie cubes and cranberry sauce to the middle! Or you could use flaky puff pastry and follow the exact same steps! There’s really a ton of options that you can work with!
Jam Flavors – Instead of sweet cranberry sauce or even homemade cranberry sauce, you could use a fruit jam like strawberry or fig jam would be just as delicious!
I have a recipe here that uses fig jam with brie that is so delicious! I highly recommend trying that recipe as well!
Equipment Needed:
Parchment Paper – Because the brie can get slightly melty and come out of the shells, I recommend putting down a layer of parchment paper to prevent any spillage from sticking to the pan!
Baking Sheet – I use a large baking sheet to make sure the phyllo dough shells get perfectly crispy! You can also use a muffin pan or a mini muffin pan to prevent the cups from falling over in the oven!

Step by Step Instructions:

Step 1. On a large baking sheet, add store bought phyllo dough shells. Bake for about 5 minutes.

Step 2. Cut brie into cubes and place one brie cube into each shell.

Step 3: Then dollop on cranberry sauce and dried cranberries on top of the brie cube. Bake until the brie is melty and the shells are golden brown.

Step 4. Add a drizzle of honey and pistachios on top.
Storage Instructions:
You can store these in an airtight container in the fridge for about three days! Because I think these are best when they’re warm or slightly room temperature, I recommend baking these right before you’re ready to serve them!

Helpful Tips and Tricks
?This recipe is great for using up any leftover cranberry sauce you have on hand! If you only have the jellied cranberry sauce, I recommend putting it into a bowl and breaking it up to make it more of a spreadable consistency!
This Brie and Cranberry Bite Appetizer is the perfect appetizer for your next holiday gathering! The crunch from the tartlet shells pairs perfectly with the melty brie cheese and sweet cranberry sauce! Plus the green and red color combination makes this such a festive holiday appetizer!
