Substitutions and Additions:

These Oreo-stuffed Chocolate Chip cookies are delicious all on their own, but I have a few different tweaks to make these cookies even better!

Types of Oreos: The easiest way to customize these cookies is to use your favorite Oreo cookies inside the chocolate cookie! I used regular Oreos for this recipe, but you can use the flavored ones like mint or coffee or you could use a seasonal cookie to match your vibe!

Add Nuts: I always like to give the option of adding nuts to any recipe so you can add a little salty crunch to any dessert! You can use peanuts or pecans with this cookie!

Types of Chocolate: You can top these cookies with any kind of chocolate from semi-sweet chocolate chips to white chocolate chips!

Types of Filling: You don’t have to just use Oreo cookies for the filling! This is an easy recipe to customize on what you like best, so you can stuff these cookies with peanut butter, marshmallows, or even Nutella. Some Nutella Stuffed Cookies sounds pretty delicious to me!

If that sounds good to you, I have a recipe for a Peanut Butter and Nutella Stuffed Cookie here that you just have to try! It’s even more delicious than it sounds!

Equipment Needed:

Small Bowl – You don’t need a large bowl when it comes to these single serve recipes! I like to use a small bowl with a rubber spatula to mix the dough together! I would avoid adding everything to the bowl of a stand mixer because the flour can get stuck at the bottom and on the sides of the bowl! It’s just too small of a recipe to use a stand mixer, even with the paddle attachment!

Cookie Sheet – You can use a medium cookie sheet to bake these cookies on! Just be sure to add a piece of parchment paper so the cookies don’t stick to the baking sheet!

Cookie Scoop – I like to use a medium cookie scoop which makes it easier to get the right amount of cookie dough to stuff the Oreo inside!

Storage Instructions:

If you have any leftover cookies, you can store them in an airtight container at room temperature for about 3-4 days! Usually this recipe makes the perfect amount of cookies for a single serve but depending on how big you make these cookies you could end up with one or two extras!

Helpful Tips and Tricks

If these cookies spread out too much in the oven, you can use a large cookie cutter to gently nudge the edges of the cookies back into a perfect circle! This is one of my favorite hacks for getting perfectly round cookies!

These Oreo Stuffed Cookies are the perfect sweet treat to make whenever a cookie craving hits! They’re perfect right out of the oven with a glass of milk! It’s up to you on whether or not you want to share these chewy cookies! The best part of these cookies are the soft centers with the melty chocolate chips on top! These are definitely one of my favorite cookies!

Cheers!
