This recipe for the Best Single Serve M&M Candy Cookie is perfect for whenever that late night cookie craving hits! Sometimes you just need a sweet treat but you don’t need a whole batch of cookies sitting there teasing you! This recipe makes the perfect portion of cookies that you can share… if you want!

Why You’ll Love…
I love making these single serve recipes so much because its easy to just throw together with a few little ingredients! You need such a small amount of ingredients it’s the perfect cookie recipe for cleaning out the pantry! Not to mention you get the choice of making two regular cookies, or one giant cookie! I highly recommend making the giant cookie because who doesn’t want to enjoy a giant monster cookie during a late night movie marathon!?! These m&m cookies are like the best chocolate chip cookie ever with a little extra crunch from the candy shell!
Candy Cookie Options
I love the little crunch form the m&m candies in this cookie! But here are a few options in case you wanted to try something different:
M&M Candy – I like to use a mixture of regular and mini m&m’s because it adds a great texture to the cookies and to bump up the extra m&m flavor!
Extra Chocolate – Add in chocolate chips to make these cookies into chocolate chip m&m cookies which is really just a match made in heaven!
Candy Bar – Chop up any kind of candy bar to add to these cookies! From caramel, to peanut butter, to nuts and more, I’ve found that basically every candy bar tastes better in cookie form!

Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich
If you decide not to make one huge cookie, I definitely recommend making these into an ice cream sandwich cookie! There’s something about making two cookies that just screams to be made into an ice cream sandwich! I like to take these cookies and sandwich a large scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle. Then roll the edges of the ice cream into chopped up candy pieces! Or you could do chocolate ice cream and make these chocolate m&m cookies!
If you like this recipe, be sure to try out my mini peanut butter cookie recipe as well!
Equipment Needed:
Medium Bowl – Because this recipe calls for such a small amount of ingredients you won’t need a large bowl at all!
Rubber Spatula – I like to mix this recipe by hand using a spatula, but if you want you can use a hand mixer or a stand mixer with the paddle attachment! Just make sure you scrape down the bottom of the bowl, to make sure all the ingredients get fully mixed together!
Cookie Sheet – I have a set of three baking sheets and I like to use the smaller baking sheet for this recipe since it’s only 2 cookies!
Parchment Paper – Always a must with any cookie recipe!
Large Cookie Scoop – This is helpful for making one huge cookie! You don’t have to use this though, you can just roll the cookie dough between your hands!

Storage Instructions:
Since this recipe only makes two cookies, there really isn’t a lot of cookies that you need to store! If you do need to store the leftover cookie, store it in an airtight container at room temperature for about 3-4 days!
You can also freeze the remaining cookie dough if you want! Just scoop the cookie dough ball onto parchment paper and let it freeze fully! Then pop it into a freezer bag and store it for 3-4 months, or until that cookie craving hits again!

Helpful Tips and Tricks
When you’re making these cookies, I like to add a few extra candies to the top of the cookie! It just makes the cookies look a bit prettier when they come out of the oven! It helps the bright colors pop just a bit more!
If the cookies spread too much in the oven, be sure to use a cookie cutter to gently nudge them back into round cookies! This helps them get the perfect shape and helps create thicker cookies!
This recipe only calls for one egg yolk, but be sure ot save the leftover egg white for omelettes in the morning!!
If you decide to make one giant cookie, please not that you might have to adjust the baking time slightly! I would add about 2-3 minutes to the baking time!
This m&m cookie recipe is such a great recipe to have on hand in case you need a quick and easy dessert! It’s perfect for using up that last little bit of sugar still hanging out in your pantry! I love the combination of the chewy cookies with the crisp edges! I think the soft centers are probably my favorite part! These just might be the best m&m cookies ever!
These are my favorite cookies to make when I’m home alone and a movie marathon is calling my name!
Cheers!
