You know how the holidays are super busy with a cookie party here, family dinner there, presents to wrap, houses to clean, sales to shop. It's a busy time and we don't always have time to make a long drawn-out dessert.
That's why this fudge is so great. It can literally be tossed together in seconds and then it just needs to cool.
Have a dinner party after work? No problem, toss this together before you leave for work and it'll be ready just in time!
Need last-minute party favors? Start this before you get your decorations out and you'll the sweetest take-home gift ever!
Trust me, there's not a single situation that this fudge wouldn't work for.
I like to top mine with a little pinch of flakey salt because I love the combination of sweet and salty! But you can add nuts, sprinkles, pretzels, crushed-up peppermints, peanut butter, caramel, etc. I think you get the point here, but really you can dress these up however you want!
Ingredients:
2 cups of semisweet chococlate chips
1 cup of dark chocolate
1 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 tablespoons of butter
Flaky salt
Add both chocolates and butter to a small saucepan and heat on medium heat until they're just about melted.
Then, remove from heat and stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
Once all the chocolate has been melted, pour into a square dish that has been lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle the top with flakey salt.
Allow the fudge to completely cool. Then remove from pan and cut into squares, as large or as small as you like them!
That's it! It really is such a fast recipe that tastes amazing! Using two types of chocolates help balance out the sweetness as well as intensify the flavors. The salt on top is literally the cherry on top of this delicious dessert!
