Pumpkin Crumble Donuts are the breakfast of your autumnal dreams with a soft pumpkin donut topped with a delicious brown sugar crumble and sprinkle of powdered sugar! This kind of breakfast requires cozy weather, cozy blankets, and a pumpkin candle flickering in the background! Although, they can be enjoyed either way!

Pumpkin Crumble Donuts

Pumpkin Crumble Donuts are a spin on one my favorite fall recipes, my Pumpkin Crumble Bread!

These donuts are made with pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and just a pinch of nutmeg to create a warm, pumpkin flavor throughout! Then to make this even more delicious, there's a brown sugar crumble on top! I like to really pack in my crumble so there's a bit of crumble in every single bite.

The only question left is which is my new favorite recipe!? I don't think I can decide!

Tips and Tricks

While this is a pretty easy recipe, I have a few tips and tricks to help along the way.

  1. This is one of my only recipes that requires a special pan. You do need a donut pan in order to get your classic donut shape! However, you can also just use a muffin pan as well!
  2. To help the donuts come out of the pan after baking, I like to spray my pan with a little bit of nonstick spray! You don't have to do this, especially if your pan is already nonstick. I like to do it just to be on the safe side!
  3. If you want your crumble to remain in little chunks and pieces after baking, I recommend letting your crumble chill in the fridge, while you assemble the donut batter. This helps the flour absorb the butter and sugar which helps the crumble hold it's shape while it bakes!
  4. If your donuts or crumble spread over the edge while baking, you can take a spoon and gently nudge it back into a circle right after they come out of the oven!

Ingredient List:

  • Oil
  • Brown Sugar
  • Sugar
  • Pumpkin Puree
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Baking Soda
  • Cinnamon
  • Pumpkin Pie spice

These Pumpkin Crumble Donuts are a breakfast dream come true! I love how soft and delicate the donuts are with the slightly crunch from the crumble! All these need is a nice cup of chai to give with it!

Cheers!
