Helpful Advice
To make mixing cookie dough easier, I love to let the butter soften to room temperature! It makes it easier to whip the butter with the sugar and create a softer cookie dough. Let the butter set out at room temperature for about 30 minutes before you need to use it! If you forget, you can place the butter in the microwave and microwave for 3 seconds, then flip the butter over and do another 3 seconds. Just be careful you don't melt the butter.

Top tip
If you have a lot of baking to do, errands to run, parties to host, I recommend making the dough ahead of time! I like to scoop out the cookie dough into the perfect dough ball shape, then leaving in an airtight container in the fridge until I'm ready to bake! Then you just have to pop on a baking sheet and put in the oven! You'll have hot, fresh cookies to serve to your guests!
I hope you love these Unique and Easy Holiday Christmas Cookies! Be sure to leave a few extra for Santa to ensure your place on the nice list!
Have a wonderful holiday season full of love, laughter, and extra cookies!
